Czech Republic

The Czech national team U’19 has been working for 3 years. The team has players that are born in 1999 and younger. The team has participated in the European Championship U'19 in Slovakia and Hungary. They celebrated big success to finish as the European champions. Also, two guys were nominated to all stars team of the championship. The team has been working under the trainer Jiri Zach.  The leaders of the team are setter and captain Ondrej Piskacek (Dukla Liberec) and opposite Marek Sotola (Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice, Czech champion 2017). Experience from the Czech highest league also has Josef Polak, Lukas Vasina and Martin Gerza.

Jiri Zach

Jiri Zach, former long-time player of the highest league,   is one of the most successful Czech coaches. He worked as coach of the teams of the man and woman highest competition, assistant of Czech national man team, head coach of teams the players born 1981 (the 4th place world championship U'19), 1987, 1997 (7th place European championship U'19), 1999 (winner of European championship U'19) and 2001. He likes good books specially literature of facts and science fiction or fantasy. He likes his two Grandchildren.
