Japan have been known for its excellent reception and digging skills. Their great focus on defence has been their greatest asset against the strongest teams in the world. Their intricate plays on offence and their solid defence easily helps in transition have been an excellent formula for the Japanese side for many years.

The Japanese coach led his team to get 1st place honours at the Asian Men’s U19 Volleyball Championship, which was a qualification tournament for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U19 World Championship. This feat was a great honor to the Japanese team as they have gained edge in this new age group category in Asian competitions. With the talent that he has, he expects his boys to gain further success in Bahrain.
