Team profile

Brazil

Brazil has been one of the most successful teams in world volleyball history and part of this success is a result of a long-term project developed with the younger national teams such as the boys’ U19 team. In the Boys’ U19 World Championship, the South Americans’ hard work brought home seven medals – six gold medals and a silver medal. They have also 16 continental championship titles. The Brazilian youngsters are up for another challenge to be among the top teams in the world under mentor Leonardo Carvalho.
