Team profile

Argentina

Argentina comes from great performances in the last Junior World Championships. In Mexico 2007 it finished in fourth place, while in India 2009 it took the podium with an unprecedented third place. After a fifth and sixth place in the following World Championships, in 2015 it lived its best historical performances. In the World Championship that Argentina organized in Chaco and Corrientes, the National Team reached a historic final in which lost with Poland and obtained its first silver medal on this category.

Luis Testa

The technical director is from the province of Mendoza where he works in Club Regatas and San Martin de Porres. Testa returned to be part of the national teams in 2014 when he occupied the place left by Julian Alvarez, who moved to the Major team. In that 2014, as assistant of Julio Gimenez, he was champion of the Junior South-American Championship with the boys born in 1997 and 1998. For his part, from 2015 he is the chief technician of the Junior category and that year he lived his most unforgettable moment when driving his team to the final of the Junior World Championship in Argentina. As if that were not enough, in 2016 he worked with the next batch, born in 1999 and 2000, and repeated the Junior South American title. In addition, he was the coach of the National Team on its last appearences in the A2 League.
