Lausanne, Switzerland, January 10, 2017 - From December 20 to 22, FIVB Board of Administration Member Shanrit Wongprasert completed an inspection tour for the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship in Bahrain which will take place later this year from August 18 to 27.
Competition and training venues were part of the first inspection visit, which also included the hotels which will welcome tournament officials and participants.

A meeting was also held with Bahrain Olympic Committee Secretary General Abdulrahman Sadeq Askar, who expressed his support for the Bahrain Volleyball Association.
This 2017 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship will take place in Bahrain from August 18 to 27. As many as twenty countries will participate in the event, including six from the European Volleyball Confederation, four from the North, Central American and Caribbean (NORCECA) and Asian Confederations, three from South America and two from Africa. They will join hosts Bahrain, who qualify automatically for the competition.
