Egypt coach Nehad Shehata wants his team to be the dark horse of the competition
Riffa, Bahrain, August 20, 2017 – Egypt coach Nehad Shehata steered his team to win the tight four-set clash against their rivals Tunisia and he said that he wants his team to be the dark horse of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship.
Egypt coach Nehad Shehata: We marked this match as special because my team lost to Tunisia in the African Championship. This match was very important for my team to believe in themselves and gain confidence to compete in this tournament. We formed this team to play in the World Championship and we want to be the dark horse in this competition.
Egypt captain George Bakhit: This was a better match for us. We lost to Tunisia in the African Championship. We played even better today than yesterday. It is a very important win for us because this gives us a chance to continue competing in this tournament. We hope we can get a very good ranking.
