Sharifi: I want to play better each match

Riffa, Bahrain, August 21, 2017 - Iran secured their third win in Pool D of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Boy’s U19 World Championship with a 3-0 match against China on Monday at Isa City Sports Hall.

Iran coach Reza Vakili Farjad: China played differently today, they played even better compared to their earlier matches. The quality of the match was at such a high level. This situation was very important for us and I am happy to win. China had too much motivation for this match. They did not play bad, we just played better than they did.

Iran player Morteza Sharifi: I am very happy for today’s victory. I was not able to perform so well in the earlier matches. I think I played better, but what I really want is to play better and better each match.
