Esfandiar started his professional life as a receiver in 2012. His first glory refers to the championship of Iranian Students team in Asia. As one of the youth squad, he achieved the gold medal of Asia and the bronze medal of the world championship. With the junior team of Iran, he experienced the vice-championship in Asia and the 1st place at Islamic Solidarity Games.
He was born in 1998 and studies Physical Education at university. He is from Amol, weighs 116 kg, and is 205 cm tall. His spike and defense respectively reach 356 and 350 cm that is indicative of high physical preparation with regard to his weight (as he owns the highest record). In Asian Youth & Junior championship, he was entitled the best opposite and outside hitter.
