Puerto Rico coach Juan Albarran
: The Japanese have a very tall middle blocker and their opposite attacks so well. They are a team that can limit their errors. They defend so well and they play with a lot of patience.

Puerto Rico captain Gabriel Garcia
: Most of the players in our team are new and they have not quite experienced to play against a fast team. This is new for them but this is a part of the process and we should get ready for it. We can learn that our team’s style of playing is not the only kind of volleyball. There are so many styles of volleyball around the world, that can better and faster. That is what motivates us to keep growing as a team and as players to just be good in doing what we love.
